– 7. bekk. Spilið virtist þjóna tilgangi sínum og voru nemendur sammála um að þeir hefðu ekki einungis haft gaman af spilinu heldur hefðu þau einnig öðlast þekkingu á Norðurlöndunum.

The game “Watch your answers – Journey to the Nordic countries” is Brynja Elín Birkisdóttir and Hrefna Ýr Guðjónsdóttir’s final project for a B.Ed. degree from the School of Education Studies at the University of Iceland.
The project, an educational board game connecting social sciences and drama, is intended as a teaching material for use when teaching about the Nordic countries. In the making of the project, the general national curriculum, as well as other references on educational methods, were used as a guiding light. The game is recommended as a teaching material for students in 6th grade (11–12 years). The game is intended to help students recall, expand and retain their knowledge about the Nordic countries, as well as assisting in drama training.
The game consists of playing cards, one for each of the Nordic countries. On each card, players will find three destinations on which they have to fulfill a task. The tasks consist of either general questions about the country, drama performance, or the so-called ‘wheel of fortune’, where the task to be performed is decided by chance.
The game was tested amongs two students from the 6th grade and four of their friends from the 5th – 7th grade. Not only did the students agree that the game was fun but they also agreed on that they had gained knowledge about the subject.
