    Projects play a crucial part in the growth and sustainability of an organization and some even argue that the only way an organization can change, implement a strategy or gain competitive advantage is through projects. In order for an organization to learn from projects, different methods must be applied at different stages in the project life cycle.
    In the hope of improving current learning practice at financial service organization, a flexible practical approach is suggested. The recommendations take the form of following:Implement a Premortem, Develop a Project Learning Roadmap and Implement a Project Gate Process. Project learning is paramount to project maturity in the organizational development.
