The concept of solidarity in the Lisbon Treaty. Relevance of environmental and international sustainable development in the EU legal order
The author provides an analysis of the concept of solidarity in the EU legal order. Three spheres of law are examined with regard to how they reflect the idea of solidarity: classical EU law concerning the internal market, European environmental law and international sustainable development law with its implications for Europea environmental law. Differences and commonalities are analyzed.
