The future of Hot Dry Rock systems with CO2 as a production fluid

Abstract

Hot Dry Rock systems may provide a huge amount of energy. To exploit these systems various production fluids may be used. Here CO2, H2O and Isopentane are compared. Different extraction methods as well as the potential of risks are considered as well.
