AbstractThe subject of this research is the translation of a work of Voltaire, Micromegas, from French into English. It is a philosophical tale, a critique of society from the perspective of Voltaire, with autobiographical elements. This work is so important for the literature and for society in general, because this is a philosophical view of society and it proposes changes. Micromegas has been translated several times, but each translation has brought something new and presented the work in a unique way. The first part of the research consists of a presentation about the author, his works and the problems of translation. The second part presents the translation.
