The investigation is based on a questionnaire exposing the opinions expressed by teachers of Spanish as a foreign language in Iceland concerning creativity and the implementation of new technologies in the classroom. In regards to the teachers, the results reveal that there is a great unfolding of potential to obtain deeper knowledge of both technologies and creativity in order to improve their performance in the Spanish language classroom. The conclusions demonstrate that this could be achieved due to the combination of such factors as technologically advanced context of Iceland together with the positive attitudes towards creativity and new technologies in addition to the possibilities which these open for the development of creativity and a high level of interest.
