Macro-landscape explores the unknown, leaving space for mistakes. As nowadays, our tools of photography can give us a perfect outcome every time, this project reconnects with the traditional way of photographing and brings back a feeling of excitement, surprise, possibility of a perfect mistake and unknown outcome.
Using an old technique, ice is used to distort an image of a glacier. Now the ice has melted and the landscape has changed, but a photograph of a glacier, of a moment remains. Due to climate change soon glaciers will be gone. Macro-landscape is a poetic documentation of a glacier seen through a glacier.
