    Þetta verkefni er umfjöllunar og hönnunarverkefni um loftaplötur. Í fyrri hluta verkefnisins eru fjallað um ýmis burðarkerfi loftaplatna og kostir og gallar metnir.
    Í síðari hluta verkefnisins er plata í skrifstofubyggingu hönnuð með eftirspenntum köplum. Sama plata er síðan hönnuð aftur með holplötum og delta bitum í samstarfi við framleiðanda. Í lokin er gerð kostnaðargreining til að meta hvort kerfið sé hagkvæmara.
