China has numerous free trade agreements with various countries, and this research will examine what effect these agreements entail in regards to trade. It will also predict trade between Mongolia and China should these two countries enter into a free trade agreement, which is under consideration. An adjusted gravity model is suggested and used as well as performing a linear regression. The sampling comprised of 27 countries, which are countries that have signed a free trade agreement with China, countries that are negotiating an agreement, and countries that are considering entering into an agreement. It was found that free trade agreement with China does contribute to a growth in overall trade, export, and import, but for countries that already have an agreement with China export did not show a significant increase. It is also predicted that a free trade agreement should increase trade between Mongolia and China significantly.
