We will look at Worldbuilding as a methodology, as a tool able to define our future, a tool where the only limit is the one, we fix, a tool able to scale, transform and translate into reality. Worldbuilding is more than creating a world, is being able to create in a context we decide. Many artists, architect, designer, socialist, scientist, anthropologist and more have toward our history turn to that practice, even being labelled as futurist, people that imagine the future of our society throught deferent aspect. How such a concept can be use and bring to the masses as a tool of change, how make it even more accessible than it is already.
This is what bring us to the aim of this research creation is to develop a worldbuilding workshop using existing method of worldbuilding and adapting them into an easy, rapid process to create artifact. Those artifacts will help to create an immersive version of that world to be experience. The objective by doing so is to have a group of individuals creating a future reality they want to be part of, from the artifact we will build a prototype of that world in the perspective to share that vision with other.
For arriving to that objective, we will look at different practitioner using worldbuilding, exhibition relative to worldbuilding, different field of study, existing workshop and methodology and result from some of those experiment. With all the information we will gather, we will be able to better analyses the concept of worldbuilding, the challenge and the different tool we can use.
