This is a research paper of how the ontogenetic body was related to the daily life habits of ours, into a research and a movement practise. How it is possible to make a choreographed dance piece out of our habits and the ontogenetic body. We are creatures of habits, and a lot of our days are going through the autopilot mode which makes us lose the sense of the moments in between the actual happenings in our life's. The ontogenetic body is the conscious embodiment of ontogenesis. Ontogenesis describes the developmental journey from our embryonic forms toward our full maturity. Body-mind cantering offers myriad practise for embodying this formative experience through touch, movement, sound, play, imagination and observation.
