    Online learning and teaching became an obligation for schools worldwide as a precautionary measure to avoid infection and sickness during the COVID-19 pandemic. The improvement of technologies used for peer-to-peer communication and communication ‘through the internet’ facilitated and made it possible to connect teachers and the students to continue with the educative process. Online platforms not designed for education began to be used for educational purposes, which led to certain difficulties and other issues.
    The proposed tool is an academic and educational sharing platform made for schools and other educational institutions. Aiming to help to connect schools, teachers, and students of the Nordic countries while providing a positive influence on and aid to the educational process of all involved. The platform can be thought of as a gateway for teachers and students, that allows them to connect and interact with their counterparts in schools all over the Nordic territories.
    By reviewing literature on Distance Education, Place Based Education, Sustainability, and Interculturalism, and integrating it to the platform’s development, the tool aims to improve teachers’ relations with online platforms, while at the same time encouraging students to learn about their communities and the communities of their peers.
