Abstract:
The Oceanic Gaze is a demi concerto for cello and chambre orchestra. The instrumentation is: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet in Bb, Bassoon, Horn in F, Trumpet in C, Trombone, Piano, Violins, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass.
The run time of the piece is around 15 minutes.
This critical reflection will address how the piece was conceived, its basic analysis and how my artistic outlook and influences shaped the composition.
