Félagsþroski leikskólabarna : áhrif á leik barna og vináttu

Abstract

Fjallað er um félagsþroska leikskólabarna og áhrif hans á leik barna og vináttu. Börn hafa mikla þörf á því að vera virkir þátttakendur innan leikskólans, eiga samskipti við aðra og vera boðin með í leik, því er mjög mikilvægt að efla félagsþroska þeirra. Góð félagsfærni gerir börnum kleift að skapa sterk tengsl við jafningja og fullorðna í nærumhverfi þess. Á margan hátt getur bæði leikurinn og þau vinatengsl sem börn skapa í æsku haft áhrif á félagsþroskann. Börn læra mjög margt í gegnum leikinn, í leiknum eiga margvísleg samskipti sér stað sem gera börnum kleift að efla félagsfærni sína. Sömuleiðis geta börn sett sig í mismunandi hlutverk í leiknum og leikið eftir ýmsar aðstæður og getur það haft góð áhrif á tilfinningastjórnun barna. Í gegnum leikinn geta börn stofnað vinasambönd og virðist það vera börnum mjög mikilvægt að eignast vini strax á leikskólaárunum; það að vera viðurkenndur innan vinahóps og stuðningurinn sem börn fá frá vinum skiptir máli. Þau þrá að hafa einhvern félaga sem deilir sömu áhugamálum og vill taka þátt í leiknum. Börn tjá frekar tilfinningar sínar við vini sína og eru þau oft öruggari í samskiptum við þá.

The social development of preschool children and its effect on children's play and friendship is discussed. Children have a great need to be active participants in the preschool, to communicate with others and be invited to play, that’s why it’s very important to promote their social development. Good social skills enable children to create strong relationships with peers and adults in their immediate environment. In many ways, both play and the friendships that children create in childhood can affect social development, children learn a lot through playing, and taking part in diverse interactions that enable them to develop their social skills. Likewise, children can put themselves in different roles in the game and play according to various situations which can have a good effect on children's emotional management. Through play children can establish friendships and it seems that it is very important for children to make friends right from the preschool years, being recognized within a group of friends and the support that children receive from them is significant. They desire to have a companion who shares the same interests, with whom they can play. Children are more open to express their feelings with their friends and are more secure in communication with them.
