The simulation is performed using Geant4, with a detector construction which reflects that of the University of Iceland lab. A 300 $\mu$m silicon detector is placed in front of a 10000 $\mu$m thick detector, registering the emitted particles' energy deposition and range in each detector. Electrons are emitted and scattered off the former silicon detector, producing bremsstrahlung photons. The photons are absorbed into a Thallium doped CsI scintillator and detected by a photosensitive detector. Electron and proton measurements of track length are in accordance with values provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and fitting energy depositions. Construction and correct function of CsI scintillator was amiss, which can be attributed to difficulties defining the mirror surface of the scintillator. Possible solutions and alternative constructions are discussed in results.
