  • Teachers are the building blocks of every educational setting and so they need all the tools they require to fulfil this tedious and sensitive task. Teachers are expected to be knowledgeable, ready to adopt different pedagogical methods that fit their audience, and entertaining enough to sustain the interest and attention of their students. In the ever-evolving world where technology is an important tool in nearly every aspect of life, the education landscape has not been an exception. Since educational growth and development is the goal, it is important to evaluate the results of primary school teachers’ professional development in the use of technology. In this study, we will discuss the benefits of digital literacy for teachers and how it plays an important role in learning carving learning experiences and outcomes for students.
The research narrows its focus on primary school teachers in Abuja, Northern Nigeria recognizing the digital challenges in this region and practical solutions and recommendations.
