Foreldrasamstarf og farsæld : farsæl börn, betri heimur.

Abstract

Ritgerð þessi er 12 eininga lokaverkefni til B.Ed.-gráðu við kennaradeild í Háskólanum á Akureyri. Viðfangsefni ritgerðarinnar er samstarf leikskóla og foreldra og hvernig farsældarlögin frá árinu 2021 hafa breytt nálgun kennara. Markmiðið með ritgerðinni er að skoða hvernig foreldrar og leikskólinn geta unnið í sameiningu að því að stuðla að farsæld barna og veita þeim gott veganesti út í framtíðina. Ritgerðin er heimildaritgerð þar sem aflað var gagna sem fyrir eru um foreldrasamstarf og lög um samþættingu þjónustu í þágu farsældar barna sem eru enn í innleiðingu. Það verður því áhugavert að sjá þegar innleiðingu er lokið og hægt að meta árangurinn betur eftir tilkomu laganna. Það þarf ekki að fara ofan af því að leikskólinn skiptir miklu máli í lífi leikskólabarna og foreldra þeirra. Leikskólagangan leggur góðan grunn að framtíð barnanna og því er mikilvægt að huga að því hvernig fyrstu árin í lífi barnsins móta barnið og foreldra þeirra í uppeldishlutverki sínu. Höfundur telur einnig að gott foreldrasamstarf í leikskóla auki líkur á virkri þátttöku foreldra í samstarfi þegar barnið fer í grunnskóla. Grunnurinn er því lagður bæði fyrir barnið og foreldranna að vera virkir þátttakendur í lærdómssamfélaginu.

This thesis is the final assignment of a B.Ed degree in the faculty of education at the University of Akureyri. The subject of this thesis is the cooperation between early pre-school parents and the school and how the Law for wellbeing of children from 2021 has changed how it is approched. The main goal of the thesis is to examine how parents and pre-schools can work together to promote the wellbeing of children and provide them with a strong foundation for the future. This is a research-based thesis where existing data has been gathered on parental collaboration and the law on integrated services for the well-being of children, which is still in the process of being implemented. It will therefore be interesting to see once the implementation is over how the results can be better assessed. It goes without saying that pre-schools play an integral part in the lifes of young children and their parents. Attending pre-school lays a firm foundation for children´s future and it is therefore important to consider how the first years of a childs life shape bothe the child and the parents in their parenting roles. The author also belives that a good collaboration between parents and pre-schools increase the likelyhood of active participation from parents once the child starts primary school. A strong foundation is therefore laid for the child and parents to be active participants in the learning community.
