This is a research about Thomas King's book Green Grass, Running Water. The main focus will be placed over one of the central images-Coyote. In the three chapters will be explained how Coyote, who is called the Native trickster too, expresses the idea of bridging two different realities-one of the Indians in Canada, and the other belongs to the European settlers, who have changed the cultural landscape in Northern America forever.
