Viðfangsefni ritgerðarinnar er að fjalla um og leggja mat á hvort áætlaður fluningur á starfsemi Iceland Spring í Víkuhvarf 1, Kópavogi auk kaup á nýjum tækjabúnaði geti skilað hagnaði fyrir félagið eftir 10 ára starfsemi.
Tekin voru viðtöl við rekstrarstjóra Iceland Spring og starfsmenn sem starfa við framleiðslu á vörum fyrirtækisins. Einnig var gerð greining á gögnum Iceland Spring sem segja til um tekjur og kostnað síðustu ára sem og áætlaðan rekstur.
The objective of this report is to determine if the relocation of operations of Iceland Spring ehf. and investment in new production equipment would be able to deliver profits after 10 years of operations. Iceland Spring operations manager was interviewed along with employees responsible for production of the company's products. Insight from those interviews along with analyses on income and expenses of the past few years and next years expected growth is used to meet the objective of this report.
